About Me
Lottie Littlewood,
Curtain Maker and Interior Designer
I'm Lottie, curtain maker, interior designer and former local government officer. I knew from a young age that my passion was interiors and yet I embarked on a military career followed by service in local government. These jobs have been interspersed with many years making curtains and soft furnishings for friends and clients. It's not all about the sewing though, I also developed my skills and have a City and Guilds (Distinction) in Advanced Interior Design and an HNC in Spatial Design as well as a Diploma in Feng Shui. I also have a BA (Hons) in Business and Management, along with my Further and Adult Education Teacher's Certificate from the City and Guilds, so you can rely on me to offer a professional service. I taught Interior Design to students at the City of Bristol College for several years, as well as running workshops in sewing and design. If you want to engage me as a teacher/workshop provider, please do make contact as I am passionate about sharing my love of interiors with others.
Why work with me?
You will receive your own interior designer!
The Curtain Cabin is my professional work space, but my important work is done in your home, which I will visit to get a feel for your vision and needs as well as understand how you and others use your home and the particular room that needs attention. I will get an understanding of your lifestyle and ideas before I even get the tape measure out. However, from there, I will create soft-furnishings with flair and professionalism, and return to you for the final fitting, as well as dress the room with other soft furnishings that you might have ordered: cushions, blinds, even a matching door stop.

So you won't just get a pair of curtains, you will get something that has been designed and created with your personal space in mind.
